Visiting the High Mead Farm

27 November 2024

We recently went on a short minibus trip to High Mead Farm to visit our friends and the animals after Storm Burt.

The sun was shining brightly as we arrived, and we were warmly greeted by the lovely people and staff at the farm.

We enjoyed a walk around the field, now accessible via a new tarmac pathway, making it easy to see all the animals and the beautiful plants scattered around. Residents loved watching the goats have their breakfast and found it highly amusing when one goat balanced on an old tyre. We also saw pigs rolling in the mud, alpacas sunbathing, and, of course, plenty of chickens running around the fields.

Our residents adore this kind of scenery and had a lovely morning. We can’t wait for the next trip!
