Residents and staff at Kingfishers came together over the Easter weekend for a series of celebrations filled with colour, creativity and shared enjoyment.

The home was decorated with Easter crafts created by residents, bringing a personal and welcoming feel to communal spaces throughout the building.

Festivities included a lively sing-along session, with staff joining in dressed in bunny costumes, adding a light-hearted touch that brought smiles across the home. Traditional hot cross buns were enjoyed as part of the celebrations, adding a familiar seasonal element to the day.

A highlight of the weekend was the delivery of Easter eggs to all residents, carried out by Companion Team Leader Rose and Waitress Julieta, ensuring everyone was included in the celebrations.

A raffle was also held during the event, raising funds for Kingfishers’ chosen charity and adding a sense of purpose to the festivities.

Companion Team Leader Rose said: It was a lovely weekend with a real sense of togetherness. Seeing residents enjoying the activities, the decorations they created, and the small surprises throughout the celebrations made it very special.”

Resident Mollie added: “It was truly a beautiful and memorable weekend, filled with happiness, togetherness, and the spirit of Easter.”

The Easter celebrations reflected the home’s focus on shared experiences, creativity and community spirit, bringing residents and staff together in a warm and inclusive way.
