"The most satisfying aspect of being a gardener at Kingfishers is the variety of different planting and garden aspects to tend to in one garden, from the sweeping lawns and ornamental grasses area to our ‘reflections’ garden and the wildlife friendly stream area.
The most popular area of the garden for residents, visitors, and staff is the rose pergola area, which in summer is full of colour and fragrances from the climbing roses, lavender, rudbeckia and sweet-peas.
My favourite aspect of the garden is the ’reflections’ garden, which in spring gains a small woodland feel about it. The backdrop of overhanging beech trees with bluebells, daffodils, primroses, hyacinths and nesting garden birds in full song make it a very pleasant part of the garden to visit."
