80th Anniversary of D-Day Landings Service
Today, we attended the D-Day Memorial Service in our Town, New Milton.
We got there lovely and early, the sun was shining, and we had a cup of coffee on the memorial bench whilst we waited.
It started with the bagpipes by John Adams, then the Exhortation was read and so forth. The Red Arrows flew over at the end of a brilliant Service.
June said, ‘it was so moving’.
