A Day Out on the Water

This week’s minibus outing took residents to Hythe Marina, where they boarded the Allison McGregor boat for a leisurely trip along the water. A welcome sea breeze offered some relief from the recent warm weather as the boat made its way towards the River Hamble.

After the cruise, the group enjoyed a traditional fish and chip lunch in Hythe before continuing their journey with a scenic drive through the New Forest and along the seafront at Milford on Sea. With views of the water, woodland and coastline throughout the day, it was a varied and enjoyable outing.
