A Grand Opening

Today marked the much-anticipated opening of our newly built activities room!

Guests from the local business community – who had attended the earlier business breakfast meeting – were invited to join the celebration. 

Companionship Team Leader Rose delivered a warm welcome, introducing resident Mollie, our dedicated community champion, and Alan, the respected chairman of the residents’ committee. Together, they took centre stage to officially cut the ribbon, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter for activities at Kingfishers. 

The room is a space designed to enhance the social and creative experiences for residents. It’s equipped with various resources and tools for crafts, games, and social events: making it a versatile space for both relaxation and engaging activities. After the ceremony, residents and guests were invited to tour the room, followed by refreshments. The sense of community and excitement for the future was felt by all in attendance.
