A Wish To See Owls In Flight
We went on a lovely drive through the beautiful New Forest towards Bransgore and Ringwood.
Our first stop was at the Fish and Chips Shop in Ringwood, where we got our lunch for our picnic. The weather was wonderfully sunny, and we found a nice spot to enjoy our meal.
After lunch, we made our way to the Liberty’s Reptile and Owl Centre. Before exploring, we took some time to relax and have a picnic. The fish and chips were still hot and tasted delicious. The sun shining made the day even more enjoyable.
Once we finished eating, we headed towards the area where the Flying Display would take place. We found seats and got comfortable. We had the pleasure of watching an owl named Viviene gracefully flying between posts. Next, a friendly Vulture entertained us as it strolled around on the grass. The gentleman leading the display shared interesting information about the birds.
The highlight of the day was when we saw three hawks soaring through the sky. It was impressive, although one of them had misbehaved and flown away to Wales earlier in the week. Everyone had a great time and returned home tired but very happy.
Kay said, “It was an amazing day,” and June shared, “I loved seeing the owls.” Rita expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank you for taking me.” It was a truly special day that brought us joy and created lasting memories.
