Advent ladder

Ta-dah! Today we decorated our advent ladder with 7 of our residents.

We collected foliage from our garden and this afternoon we wrapped beautiful ivy, eucalyptus and other amazing foliage with garden string around the ladder. We used pine cones, dried lemon slices and a dried orange and hung it on our fabulous creation. The last but very important task was to wrap the lights around the ladder. We were all so pleased as it looks magical lit up. Tonight the ladder sits under Peggy and Terry’s room so they can marvel at it. Tomorrow the ladder will be moved to another window for another resident to enjoy. We call it our Advent ladder.
