Alan’s Visit to the Aldershot Military Museum

To mark the season of Remembrance, we were delighted to make a special wish come true for Alan with a visit to the Aldershot Military Museum.

At 100 years young, Alan reflected proudly on his time in the RAF, pausing thoughtfully by the Bren light machine gun on display — a poignant reminder of his service and the experiences he lived through.

The visit offered a gentle, reflective outing, combining history, memory, and personal pride. Accompanying Alan on this day was a privilege, allowing time to share stories and enjoy a moment that honoured both his remarkable life and the wider service of those who have served.
