Colten Christmas Cake Challenge

Residents took part in the Colten Christmas Cake Challenge today.

They chose the design together after finding inspiration online. They decided on a Victoria sponge, preferring its lighter texture to a traditional fruit cake.

Everyone was involved in the process, from mixing the batter to rolling out the fondant icing and cutting out star shapes. The finished cake reflected the group’s shared effort.

Jack summed it up simply, saying, “Amazing result — a simple cake with a touch of elegance.”
