Compton Acres – Junes 100th

With her 100th birthday approaching, June was treated to a special outing centred around one of her favourite pastimes: visiting beautiful gardens. After considering a few options together, a trip was arranged to Compton Acres.

The weather forecast had been uncertain, but the rain held off long enough for June to explore the gardens at her leisure. She particularly enjoyed wandering through the Japanese Garden and the Italian Garden, taking time to admire the planting, water features and sculptures along the way.

After exploring, the group stopped at the café for lunch before heading home, just as the rain finally arrived. Reflecting on the day, June said she had thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
