Creating Festive Cheer at Kingfishers

Residents at Kingfishers enjoyed a lively and creative afternoon where the Christmas season began to take shape.

In preparation for the upcoming Christmas Tree Festival at St Thomas’ Church in Lymington, everyone contributed to the decorations for the tree we will be showcasing next week.

This year’s theme, Christmas Jumpers and Woolly Knits, inspired an array of handcrafted creations. Residents painted miniature jumpers, helped make tiny bobble hats, felt mittens, and little socks, while our talented knitter, Kay, added a charming woollen twist on the classic paper chain to drape around the tree.

The activity brought warmth, festive cheer, and a shared sense of pride as residents look forward to seeing their work on display in the church.
