Gift from The Men’s Shed

We were delighted to receive a very special delivery this week, thanks to the talented team at New Milton’s Men’s Shed.

The team worked closely with us to create a stunning Charity Display Cart. The cart was handmade using recycled materials, including donated items that could no longer serve their original purpose — such as wheels from broken wheelchairs.

Residents played an active role in designing the cart, contributing ideas and working together as a team, which made the finished piece feel personal and special to everyone. The Men’s Shed team went above and beyond during delivery, surprising us with a beautiful pyrography of a bird thoughtfully added to the cart.

Resident Molly commented, “What a beautiful cart. Such a detailed drawing of a bird. Very well done.” Both Molly and Brian were thrilled to see their vision come to life.

We are excited to put the cart to good use in our upcoming activities and are incredibly grateful to New Milton’s Men’s Shed for helping us create such a unique and meaningful piece.
