Ice Cream in the Sun
We set off on our excursion to the Needles Eye Café as our residents had requested.
The day was hot with a gentle breeze. We were fortunate to find lovely seats with a view overlooking the sea and the Isle of Wight. The friendly waitress came to take our orders, and we all decided to treat ourselves to delicious ice creams.
“Rum and Raisin, my favourite,” exclaimed Alan Havelock. “I prefer vanilla,” added Hugh Cooke.
We enjoyed our ice creams while basking in the breath-taking scenery and enjoying the warmth of the day. It was a truly delightful experience.
