Jam For Our Fete

We recently made some jam in one of our cooking sessions, as we are getting geared up for the upcoming Summer Fete.

All our residents got involved in different ways: some helped chop the fruit, some helped put the jam into the jars, while others helped with cutting some fabric into squares to make the jars look prettier. The fabric squares went over the top of the jars with an elastic band, which proved to be a little tricky at times!

Maggie enjoyed helping so much. “That’s good, all done!” she exclaimed. We will sell the jam at our Summer Fete, and all the funds raised will go to our chosen charity.
