Kingfishers Rings in the New Year

Residents at Kingfishers enjoyed a lively New Year’s Eve celebration, welcoming 2026 a little earlier than most.

The day began with a delicious lunch, complete with crackers and party poppers, setting the festive tone.

In the afternoon, everyone joined a ‘Countdown Party’, playing games, singing along to party music, and waving colourful light-up wands. As the sounds of Auld Lang Syne filled the room, residents shared warm wishes for the New Year, creating a joyful and inclusive atmosphere.

Kate said how much she had enjoyed joining in with the celebrations, which brought the community together and made for a memorable start to the year.
