Let’s celebrate Chinese New Year

This afternoon we celebrated Chinese New Year.

Our lounge was decorated with a handmade money tree and Chinese lanterns, which were crafted the previous week and ready for this event. Our nurse Fay gave an interesting talk about Chinese traditions and customs around Chinese New Year. Everybody was very interested in hearing about the different cultures. Our companion team leader Rose talked us through the different meanings of flowers in Chinese culture. All in all, it was a very enjoyable afternoon of entertainment and learning.
