Making Poppies

Our residents loved the idea of making poppies to raise money for the British Legion.

A pattern and felt were therefore sourced and we made ten in one afternoon. The residents enjoyed making them so much that we made more the following day; finishing twenty in total. The residents would like to sell them for £3.00 per poppy. This will raise £60.00. ‘it’s such a good cause’ said April. A gentleman called Vivien, and Beryl made about eight between them. Let’s hope we raise the money for this well-deserved charity.
