Afternoon at Highcliffe Castle

Two residents attended a musical afternoon at Highcliffe Castle, set in the historic surroundings of the castle overlooking the coast. The event featured a programme of music by Rodgers and Hammerstein, centred around The Sound of Music.

Familiar pieces filled the venue, with song sheets provided so guests could follow along. The residents joined in with the singing throughout the performance, enjoying the well-known melodies in a lively, relaxed atmosphere.

On the journey back, the music continued to be hummed and sung, carrying the afternoon’s tunes along the return to the home.
