Linden House is our residents’ home. Its design plays an important role in providing high-quality care for our residents living with dementia by creating a more comfortable and familiar environment, which can improve mood and connection and have a positive impact on overall wellbeing.
We designed and built Linden House specifically for residents living with dementia. Our approach centres on creating familiar, comfortable and personalised environments that positively impact residents’ overall health and wellbeing. This is reflected in our thoughtfully designed living spaces, themed areas and gardens.
Our themed areas are a useful tool for reminiscence therapy. By using familiar objects, music, or other sensory stimuli, our residents can be stimulated to recall memories and facilitate conversations. This can help to improve their mood, promote familiarity and connectedness, and enhance their overall quality of life.
Our home has been designed with areas that promote routine and familiarity, creating a stable environment that can reduce feelings of anxiety and confusion.
The layout of our home helps alleviate feelings of confusion and disorientation in residents by providing a space that is more recognisable and familiar. The design is inviting, helping residents feel more at home.

Spacious, light, warm and comforting, your room can be made home by bringing cherished personal items and furniture with you. Every room has ensuite bathroom facilities, and there are a range of options with regards to view and outside access.
Our rooms are furnished to a high standard, including comfortable and attractive beds that would meet many hospital standards.
Our team of interior designers cut no corners in creating refined, comfortable living spaces to be proud of.

Local themes feature in our garden, with a coastal area with topical photos printed on walls and a boat garden. With colour and smells around every corner there is plenty to explore in the garden, the potting shed being a highlight as its always bursting with plants from gardening clubs.
The Roof Terrace is a particular favourite with residents. It’s a quiet and sunny area with a unique aspect that overlooks the town of Lymington. With the planting, water feature, sea air and sun you can find calm contemplation in this beautiful space.
We recognise many of our residents had such gardens themselves, and gardening may have been a special pastime for them. We offer residents the opportunity to continue that pastime in whatever way they feel appropriate.
