Today the world celebrated the tastiest of meat treats: bacon. We looked and studied some of the different types of bacon from around the world and were delighted to learn that bacon has been a major ingredient across many cultures over thousands of years. Margaret’s favourite was the classic British rasher, a staple in any good full English breakfast. Nowadays you can get bacon versions of everything, from bacon fizzy drinks to bacon cologne. When something tastes this good it deserves its own special day.
