Afternoon Tea at Bashley Manor Tea Rooms

A Group Photograph (002)

This afternoon with the temperature reaching 30C, the sky blue with not a cloud in sight we boarded the minibus for a leisurely afternoon drive to Bashley where we stopped for afternoon tea at Bashley Manor Tea Rooms. After a cup of tea and a delicious slice of chocolate or lemon drizzle cake we walked around the animal enclosure admiring the unusually coloured ducks, chickens, pigmy goats, goats, lambs and alpacas. One adult goat caused quite a stir as it stood like a statue on top of its house surveying its territory and eyeing up anything that could be eaten. All to soon it was time to board the minibus and return home, yes it was the minibus and not the gypsy caravan that Nigel thought would be great fun to ride in. Nigel where are the ponies? Everybody agreed that the afternoon had been a great success and are now looking forward to the next visit.
