Visit from Mr Kelloggs

Residents at Linden House enjoyed a visit today from Mr Kelloggs, a Shetland pony who regularly visits the home as a therapy animal.

Mr Kelloggs spent time moving through the lounges and visiting residents in their rooms, offering calm, one-to-one interaction as well as shared moments in communal spaces.

Barbara particularly enjoyed meeting him up close, spending time stroking and engaging with him, which clearly lifted her mood. Many residents have long-standing connections with animals and appreciate the comfort and familiarity these visits bring.

With the Chinese Year of the Horse approaching, the visit felt especially timely. It was a gentle, enjoyable afternoon that residents responded to warmly.
