A First for Flower Club

Laughter and conversation were all that could be heard whilst walking along the corridor to Linden Square.
On approaching, a group of ladies and one gentleman were busy laughing and chatting whilst arranging a selection of beautiful, scented flowers.
Originally Terry thought that he would sit and watch the ladies, but they had other ideas, so Terry quickly decided that he would arrange a vase of flowers, thinking this is women’s work but at least it would keep the ladies happy if he joined in rather than watching. Competition for the ladies? And a first for flower club.
As they continued to work, the fragrance of lilies and roses filled the room and drifted along the corridor.
At the end of the afternoon everybody admired each other’s floral displays, agreeing to meet again very soon with a special request for Terry to join them which he gladly accepted.
