Autumnal Art

4 October 2025

As the seasons begin to change, our home has been filled with the warm colours and creativity of autumn.

To celebrate this beautiful time of year, we gathered for an autumnal art session, where residents painted their very own seasonal trees. The inspiration came straight from nature itself — we collected colourful leaves and plants from our garden so that everyone could see and feel the true essence of autumn right before them.

Joan, one of our wonderfully talented resident artists, was among the first to pick up her paintbrush. Having always loved art, she was thrilled by the creative idea and couldn’t wait to bring her vision to life. She was soon joined by others who share her passion.

Art sessions like these are more than just creative fun — they bring real joy and meaningful engagement. For many of our residents, especially those living with dementia, painting provides emotional comfort and gentle stimulation.
