Fasten Your Seatbelts

After our pilot Chris checked all our passports, we took off across the English Channel to embark on a virtual journey to France.

Our experience began with a delightful film showcasing the top 25 places to visit in the country.

During the screening, several of our residents were delighted to recognise Mount St. Michael, which was identical to our very own St. Michael’s Mount in Cornwall. We continued our adventure by participating in a ‘What’s the Word’ quiz to perfect our spoken French, which resulted in a lot of laughter and fun.

After enjoying some light refreshments, we were treated to a mesmerising performance by the renowned Can Can dancers from the Moulin Rouge. As the afternoon progressed, our residents became more engaged and confident in participating, resulting in an atmosphere filled with joy and laughter.

Overall, the experience was a delightful way for our residents to explore a different culture and immerse themselves in the French language and traditions.
