Flower Art

Today, we created some beautiful flower arrangements using fresh flowers and a cardboard vase.

The residents decorated the vases that were on the card and once it was personalised, they started putting the stems of the flowers through the holes that had been made. The result being a beautiful bunch of flowers with the effect of them coming out of the vase.

Megan went for a polka-dot design on her vase and picked out the flowers that perfectly matched the colours she used on her design. We used a mixed bunch of real and faux flowers, including white and red roses and pink chrysanthemums.

Megan and Jane mentioned the result was beautiful, and they were very proud of their finished flower vases.

Once completed the residents signed their hard work and proudly put them on display in their rooms. Making it smell nice while adding some vibrant colours.
