Margaret and Flo shared a joke with one another and it didn’t take long before the whole room was in fits of giggles – residents and staff alike, proving that laughter really is contagious!

At Linden House, we understand the importance of humour and laughter. They are powerful tools for enhancing quality of life in a residential care setting, supporting emotional well-being, foster social connections, and contribute to a sense of community. Additionally, engaging in humour involves memory, understanding, and timing, stimulating cognitive processes and helping residents stay mentally active.
