Linden’s Lapland dash

After a great deal of discussion, a group of residents decided that along with the companions, they would like to take part in the Dementia UK Lapland Dash.
The money raised will be used to support people living with dementia. Although launched on the 2nd of December, a great deal of walking took place in Christmas week, with several trips out to the local garden centre, browsing amongst the festive displays before stopping for coffee. Everybody was surprised at how far they had walked and hadn’t noticed because they were engrossed in looking at the many beautiful, seasonal gifts on the shelves. On the way out there was even time for a photo call with Santa and one of his reindeer. So, we have now completed the Lapland Dash walking 10 kilometres. Congratulations to all who participated.
