Music Therapy
Residents of Linden House enjoyed music therapy this week.
It was a particularly special treat as it was run Fraser Simpson from Nordoff & Robbins – the UK’s largest and internationally renowned Music Therapy provider. With over 60 years of expertise, Nordoff & Robbins specializes in using music to foster connection and expression.
During the session, residents were invited to explore a range of percussion instruments, including a full-size snare drum and cymbal, while Fraser played the keyboard. Through improvisation and creative interaction, he adapted his piano playing to everyone, encouraging self-expression with his skilled and responsive techniques.
The session was a resounding success, leaving residents buzzing with excitement. They were still talking about it the next day and asking when the next one would take place!
