Nigel Plays Pool

Nigel, a former Merchant Navy sailor, jumped at the chance to attend a Remembrance event.

The Lymington branch of the Royal British Legion honoured the occasion with a special event this Remembrance Sunday. 

Throughout the afternoon, Nigel enjoyed chatting with Legion members and was delighted to catch a bit of football on the TV. 

As the afternoon progressed, a pool match taking place at the Legion caught his eye. Inspired by the friendly competition, Nigel decided to play a round. With the help of Companion Chelsea, who happened to be at the Legion with her family, Nigel potted ball after ball into the pockets. 

Nigel is looking forward to returning to the Legion – whether for another pool match or to watch a game of football in the company of some newfound friends!
