Singing In The Community

On a dry but chilly morning in December, the Linden Voices boarded the minibus for the short journey to the United Reformed Church in Lymington.
Here, they joined members of the local community to enjoy coffee and hot mince pies.
The mince pies were baked by the Linden chefs, and once everyone had tasted these culinary delights, it was time to commence with the singing.
We started with several traditional carols, including “The Holly and the Ivy” and “O Tannenbaum.”
The German carol was very popular, and of course, we had to sing favourites like “Rudolph,” “Walking in A Winter Wonderland,” and “Jingle Bells.” We couldn’t end the session without singing “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”
All too soon, it was time to leave with a promise to return in the New Year. We boarded the minibus and returned home for lunch.
