Summer Festival Crafts

With summer around the corner, our teams and residents are excitedly preparing for our Flower and Fairy Festival in July!

Residents have been painting and designing charming fairy doors, for a trail in our garden. They’ve also been meticulously crafting beautiful flower festival headbands.

These creative endeavours provide therapeutic benefits, including stimulation of cognitive functions and enhancement of dexterity, all within a safe and enabling environment.

A wonderful example of this is Frances, who visibly enjoyed working on the headbands with Companion Lin. The clear purpose of raising funds for charity through her craft provided Frances with a profound sense of achievement and positive contribution, demonstrating the positive impact of meaningful engagement on our residents’ emotional well-being.
