The Flaky Pizza

It was early on Saturday morning. The wind was blowing, so it was decided that it was too blustery to take a walk outside. Baking seemed like a good idea.
A few ladies gathered in the lounge and, after some discussion, unanimously decided to try their hand at baking a pizza. Instead of using a pizza dough base, they would use a flaky pastry base. Soon, the ingredients were gathered, and before long, a Margarita pizza consisting of tomato puree spread evenly over the base, topped with cheese, and sprinkled with oregano took shape.
Once placed in the oven to bake, a tantalizing aroma wafted along the corridor. While waiting for the pizza to bake, we discussed the many toppings that could be added and Italy, the country where pizzas originate.
