The Return of a Gentle Giant

On a sunny afternoon, with clear blue skies above, Bruce, a magnificent 20-year-old Friesian Horse standing at an impressive height of 16 hands, returned to Linden House to visit the residents and staff.
This special visit was arranged after a conversation with Tommie, who was asked about her one wish if the home could make it come true. After thinking it over, Tommie expressed her desire to see a horse up close, to stroke and pat it. Having always lived in a city, she had never experienced such a close encounter with a horse before.
At first, Tommie felt a bit unsure, but with gentle encouragement, she approached Bruce. In no time, her hesitation disappeared as she embraced the chance to get up close and give this beautiful horse a gentle pat. Bruce stood patiently and perfectly still, almost dozing off, while Tommie enjoyed the happiness of this new experience.
During Bruce’s visit, he also reunited with Nigel and brought joy to many residents, who marvelled at his impressive size. The presence of Bruce captivated everyone, creating a truly remarkable and unforgettable moment.
It was a day filled with sunshine, smiles, and the enchantment of connecting with these gentle giants of nature. Bruce’s return visit brought immeasurable happiness, leaving a lasting memory in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of meeting him.
