World Belly Dancing Day

Dancing her way into the Malt Hall, Shelley Lozano, a professional belly dancer, came to celebrate World Belly Dancing Day with residents.

She embarked on a brief history of belly dancing around the world, which included video clips, photos, and sharing her experiences as a traveling dancer. Residents smiled and laughed at some of the more humorous anecdotes.

Then came the time for a lively demonstration as Shelley displayed her veil work and undulating dance moves, impressing residents as she moved around the room.

It was a delightful way for everyone to immerse themselves in culture and movement!
