World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at Linden House

It was a lovely morning and sunshine flooded the conservatory where many residents and their family members joined together in the name of charity.

Tables were decorated and everyone was spoiled for choice as a delectable variety of cakes and pastries were served with tea and coffee. The Diamond Divas charity choir performed a joyful repertoire of well-known songs with heart, humour and fun. Residents were given lyric sheets so they could sing along though many knew the songs by heart. We raised £220 to benefit the Macmillan Caring Locally Cancer Unit in Christchurch Hospital. Everyone including the choir remarked on what a wonderful time they had!
