FARMs – the Friends And Relatives Matter Support Group
Held in the Cinema Room on the last Thursday of each month, starting at 2.00pm
At times we all try and press on without help, or pausing to think and even consider help. That is why Val Wilson, who’s mother was at Newstone House for 18 months before sadly passing has set up an independent support group. Get-togethers are open to all friends and family of residents here and it’s a very informal pop-in and pop-out system – so no booking required!

Val believes that sharing knowledge and experiences can really help; so even if you are unable attend, you may find some support in these two emotive, honest and beautifully written leaflets of her own experiences. Our warmest thanks to Val for granting us permission to share them.
