Alpaca Adoration

It is not every day that Alpacas come to tea.

Today we were fortunate that Buddy and Caramac braved the rain and came to Newstone House. They were on their best behaviour and totally charmed all our residents.

They were so unbelievably soft to touch and made an enchanting whistling sound. Buddy, the darker one, would lovingly lean into anyone with the right touch.

Sylvia, seen here, was especially keen to spend time with the beautiful creatures as she has been teased by photos of alpacas at the bottom of a family member’s garden.

It was such a beautiful afternoon that we have invited them back for a repeat visit in September.
