Boba Bubble Tea Day

Residents at Newstone House came together to celebrate Boba Bubble Tea Day with an afternoon centred around colourful drinks, conversation and a few bubble-themed touches. Decorations filled the lounge, while the bubble machine added to the atmosphere as residents from both floors gathered to take part.

The group learned a little about the origins of bubble tea before trying their hand at creating their own drinks. With tapioca pearls and a selection of flavoured teas available, residents experimented with different combinations and compared their favourites.

Relatives and staff joined in too, and a refreshments trolley ensured that those unable to attend the lounge could still enjoy a taste. The day sparked plenty of discussion, with many pleasantly surprised by their chosen blends.
