Pink Ladies Tractor Run

Welcoming a Pink Ladies Tractor Run participant… and her very famous bears!

On Wednesday this week, we welcomed Jacquie Howells to Newstone House. Jacquie is a regular participant in the Pink Ladies Tractor Run. The event is held annually in Suffolk to raise money for Cancer Research UK.  

Over 200 ladies drive a marathon distance through the Suffolk countryside on tractors. Jacquie bought in several photos, showing her tractor bedecked with bears. She explained how each year the bears are dressed to follow a theme, and they have become so popular that they have their own Facebook page! 

Since many of our residents have tractor experience themselves, it was a very interesting afternoon, and the questions flowed.
