School is Now in Session

We took a trip back in time this week and revisited our school years. 

We had a delightful assortment of old school costumes available for the residents and team, which included vibrant pinafores, tweed caps, and worn leather satchels. 

“Who remembers this?” Jan asked, holding up a well-loved wooden ruler. “A bit too close for comfort on the knuckles!” Pat chuckled. We also tried our hands at writing in chalk and passing a few secret notes among the class. 

Afterwards, the room filled with music and laughter as the residents sang old hymns and recounted memories – who knew we had so many former pranksters at our home!
