The Sherborne Visit

19 August 2024

On a sunny afternoon in August, we visited The Sherborne on one of our minibus trips.

The residents thoroughly enjoyed admiring the beautiful art both inside the house and in the gardens. After a long walk around the extensive house, we relaxed with a lovely cup of tea and some cake in the café. There was plenty of laughter and lively conversation about the art we had seen.

Just before we left, the ladies wanted to powder their noses in the cloakroom. We were pleasantly surprised and mesmerised by the plush décor in the bathrooms. We were so indulged in the luxury of this glorious setting that we found it difficult to leave!
