  • Today is a grey rainy day and I was actually sorting through some paperwork of Betty’s, when I received a delivery of a beautiful bouquet of flowers, signed - from the staff at Brook View. The flowers did indeed, as the message said, brighten up my day. What a lovely thought and a very kind, and much appreciated gesture. Thank you very much.

  • Just a note to thank you both very much on behalf of my mother, Olive, and the family for being so terrific in helping her with her furniture in her new room recently and supporting her so well in getting it sorted out. She was extremely pleased and grateful and so are we.

  • I would like to say a big thank you for enabling me to talk to Freddie yesterday at Bourne View through the new screen in reception. It was a real treat for Freddie and myself after all these weeks of being separated. It is a wonderful idea and I hope that many visitors take up the opportunity to see their loved ones in this way. Many thanks also to you, your nurses, carers and all your staff for everything you do each day to keep the residents safe, well and happy.

  • What a lovely surprise and kind thought in sending me four delicious chocolate goodies, please congratulate the chef... I find being home-bound so boring that any diversion is welcome and yours was doubly so. I am the 103 year old who you looked after so ,well last autumn...I trust this pandemic has not hit the home too harshly and wish all the best in the future.

  • I just wanted to write to you and thank you profusely for all you did to enable my visit to my Mother , yesterday. I greatly appreciate the chance to see her and probably for the last time. Her room looked wonderful, clean, orderly light and airy. Nicky looked so calm and composed, resting peacefully and in no sign of pain or distress. She was dressed with care and I thought looked amazing for her age. She would be so pleased to see herself so dignified and graceful. While she was asleep all the time I was there, never opening her eyes or signifying my presence it still enabled me to talk to her and convey the love from all the family and friends who mattered to her. Thank you once again for arranging this visit and looking after my Mother so well.

  • I would just like to thank all the staff at Belmore for looking after my mother over the last nine months, I know she could be a bit of a challenge but in the end she passed away in peace and with dignity. My last visit a few days before she died, she looked lovely and it was a wonderful memory to take away. Both my brother and myself are very grateful for all you have done.
