An Afternoon Trip to Sandbanks

It was a wet start, but the sun shone wonderfully during our ladies afternoon trip to Sandbanks.

Residents Valerie, Enid, Marion, Jeanette, Pip and Elizabeth had a fun-filled afternoon with companions Melissa & Pauline, and driver Martin. We all sang along with cheerful songs including ”Singing in the Rain” as we left …in the rain. As we arrived in Sandbanks the rain stopped and the sun came out, so we sang ”You are my Sunshine” and ”The sun has got its hat on”. Valerie, Enid and Marion enjoyed a stroll along by the Sandbanks chain ferry terminal. No ferry though as Melissa pointed out that it is usually having maintenance work this time of the year. Marion said ”This is so beautiful!”
