Apple Strudel

We decided to make some apple strudels today: a firm favourite of our residents!
We started by rolling out the pastry and then peeling and slicing some apples. We also added a few raspberries and some banana, too. We sealed the edges with an egg wash, then popped them into the oven for fifteen minutes.
They smelt amazing while they were cooking. Chris managed two while Iris and Margaret ate one each with their cuppa. We shared the remainder around the home – which resulted in an empty tray!
