Canford School Carol Service

Canford school students treated us to a lovely Carol Service this afternoon.

Mince pies and shortbread, tea or coffee were plenty before and during the service which was delicious! One of our residents even decided to take one back with her to have later! We were also told, or should I say subjected to very bad jokes every 10 minutes from one of the students – Joyce said ’ they’re even worse than mine!’  Valerie liked the architecture of the hall we were in as we sat next to a very intricate, carved fireplace.  All residents enjoyed the singing too, such as silent night and hark the herald angels Sing. We are all feeling, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas now!
