Festive Food and Fun

Today we had a fun day making mince pies during our popular Cooks Corner Activity. 

Valerie and Cynthia listed all the ingredients needed for the mince pies. Then, Pam and Cynthia rolled the pastry while Juliana made the tops and bottoms with the pastry using the cutters. 

Terry and Tony laid the pastry on the trays, and Margaret and Joyce filled them. Terry and Cynthia pressed the covers down. To crisp the pastry and make it look golden brown, Margaret and Cynthia brushed them with a dash of milk. 

Brian, Jeanette, and Pauline sang Christmas Carols in the background to keep the Christmas Spirit Going.
