Putting the Fun in Fundraising

Throughout 2024 we supported our chosen charity which was ‘Wildlife in Need’ and this year’s total was an amazing £900.81! 

To raise the funds, we carried out various events within the home and various community events, some of the events included World Opera Day, The Aldbury’s 21st garden party,  selling our very own Wildlife Calendar, and much more. 

Throughout the year, the charity has visited with their chickens and have delivered educational talks. 

We were delighted to present the charity with a cheque for the full amount this week. Wildlife In Need was incredibly grateful and said all the money will go towards a great cause, for buying food for all the wildlife they rescue daily at the centre.
