Garden Walks

On a sunny day after a few showers, the residents at The Aldbury were thrilled to take an afternoon stroll through our lovely gardens.

Leading the way were Jeanette and Bob, who delighted others with their knowledge of the different flowers in bloom. After a pleasant walk, we found shaded spots under the trees to sit and enjoy some refreshments. Elizabeth couldn’t help but admire the beautiful blue sky, and Jeanette agreed, saying we were fortunate to have such a stunning garden.

Stella was inspired to create a bouquet for her room, hand-picking mostly daisies and St. John’s Wort for their lovely yellow flowers. The cheerful mood continued when Brian started singing ‘Daisy Daisy,’ prompting a delightful sing-along session that lasted until supper. It was indeed a perfect day!
